I haven't posted any pics of my fur babies in awhile. I guess I over did it?

It is so good to have them back after they've been with their mom for the past week.

They don't like sharing chew bones. Emily will steal Abigails bone and run to the bed with it. They have four of them and I have to redistribute them after Emily has all four of them in the bed.

No way! I love your baby photos, seriously. They're very artful and I always enjoy seeing them. Cool. They are soooooooo sweet.

That must be hard to share them. You definitely need to make yourself some t-shirts w/ your dogs on them.

I couldn't resist editing and sneaking in the picture of the Egyption Croc with Chang Po-yu's forearm in it's mouth.

Chang Po-yu's, an employee at Shaoshan Zoo, in Taiwan, was performing his ordinary duties, caring for many animals including, lions, tigers, and crocodiles (not bears). He was informed he had to remove a tranquilizer dart from a 440-pound Nile crocodile, which is not a terrifying idea in anyway. The conflict of this story is, the 400-pound Nile crocodile was not completely anesthetized. Chang Po-yu was standing outside a large cell when he proceeded to take his right arm and place it through the bars. Chang was removing the dart from the crocodiles skin, when the semi conscious Nile croc reacted and bit off Mr. Po - yu entire forearm.

He was immediately rushed to the hospital. A fellow employee, in an attempt to rescue Changs forearm from the crocs mouth, shot the crocodile in the neck. The croc dropped the forearm and the employee retrieve it.

They zoo says the 400 - pound Nile crocodile was not harmed, in fact, the bullets did not pierce the crocodiles skin. Survival from the crocodile was important, being he is an endangered specie.

Remarkably, Chang Po - yu forearm arrived at the hospital and after a seven hour surgery, was reattached. Chang Po - yu will be hospitalized until he has completely recovered.

Hi Ms.mamma

I must have edited with the croc pic after you made your comment!LOL

Yes, sometimes it is hard to share the girls, but my ex loves them just as much as I do, and we know they are in good hands with either of us.
I trust their safety with the ex better than anyone I know, and she likes to travel, so i get to keep them more than she does anyway.

It's really hard to give them up after I've had them for two weeks at a time. I prefer to try to keep a tight weekly schedule with it.

Yep..I do need to make the T-Shirt with them on it. I keep them on my screensaver.

That photo could have been an entire new post. I saw this when I was at the Y(MCA) today on the news. I meant to tell you to, that your comment about the seagull you saved would have been a good post as well.

I can't believe they took a picture of the arm in the croc mouth! Don't you think if the hapless zookeeper had a blog, he'd be saying, "Quick, take a picture, it's for the BLOG!!!" I know I would. ;)

Love your babies. SOooooo sweet.

Hi J
I would want pictures if it was my arm! Of course it wouldn't be the first thing on my mind at the time, but I would be thankful someone took the pictures.
They took lots of pictures. Check out the Fox News pics!

Awwww! Aw how cute they are! I just love em :) Gosh...what dogs can do for our hearts and souls. I miss all my crew - really really miss em. Ya know.... I realize that it was shortly after Mugzie died (which was shortly after Ivan and Lucy died, too) was when I quit my All About the Dogs blog. I guess some things you just don't ever get over, or... well - I just couldn't blog anymore on dogs, I guess? But anyhow... guess who I paid a visit to the other night after not seeing it for many many months? Ode to Molly. It did the same thing to me :) lol.

Gosh Julie! I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet, but I couldn't imagine losing them in such a short time frame. Mugzy, Ivan, Lucy, and also Mabel the cat.

That would knock the sails out from under anyones feet.

I found the song (Deep Peace)that's used on "Ode to Molly", and put it on my "IMEEM" playlist under "Soothes the Beast".

It's not the original that went with Molly, but it's close.
