From Riches to Rags and WTF?

Once upon a time I lived here with a Magical Princess. But was banished back to "Trailer Trashville".
I was the lucky owner of this mobile home about one month before this tree landed on it.
Hauled that badboy off. Cut every damn tree down, and hauled this one in. I doubt this will be "Happily ever After", but it's as close as I can get for now.

Jimmy- Your trashed trailer looks like a Fairmont Home. We used to sell those. At least you HAVE your own little haven and that is something to be proud of. :)

Ya know...I can't remember what the trashed trailer was? I know it was a 1985 model. I think it was an Oakwood or a Fleetwood? One of them woods?

The replacement trailer is a 1980 Mascot. I bought it for only $5,500. And it's still in the remodeling stage. I just put laminate floors in it this past weekend.

Yes, it's mine, and I will have the land and everything paid for in a year and a half. I'll just keep remodeling it until something better comes along. I like my location best of all.

That's awesome Jimmy. Sounds like a good deal and it looks like it's in okay shape. THose are worth $$$ here. Do you have 6" walls? Anyway, I just linked to you.

I've heard they were supposed to be a quality trailer, but mine doesn't have the 6" walls? Guess I got the redneck version?

Thanks for linking to me. I'll have to link back to you cause I'm addicted to your blog.

HEY! hehehe it's me! (been gone so long) It's so GOOD to see your blog! I haven't been by in eons, it seems (have missed reading here :( but anyhow... I was lmao on your post - the David Allan Coe kind of weekend with the lovely & muddly patriotic bikini babes hahahaha, and then I started cruising your whole blog (can't wait to get back to read more), but I wanted to stop long enough to try to get a comment through and to say 'howdy' real 'quick-like !

I LOVE the pics of your home! And the shrine to the doggies! What a nice nice SUPER DUPER wonderful job you've done on ALL of it!

(interrupted by a big heavy head that just laid his furry head on my lap). Yabbay says to send Ab and Em a big paws up (high five) from him and a happy wagging tail-shaking hello! Woof Woof :)

Hey Julie

My favorite Southern Belle!

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me here in the blogoshere.

Me & Uncle Evan Williams are sitting here listening to Mr. Coe and blog hopping.
I'm gonna get my girls back tomorrow, and all will be well with my world. I can't wait to see them slip and slide on the new floors.
My Dad said he even wanted to be here to watch the show.
Abigail will definitely do the "High Five" with Yabbay. I don't know about the prissy Miss Emily? I'm sure he could charm her into it though!

I wish I could get you blogging again? I miss your blog. I'll never forget Molly!

Hugs to you and the fur babies!

Jimmy- By law they have to be 6" walls here because we live in the northern zone. Your 4" walls are just right for where you live.

I like your little house there. Very cool. And not so little, really...looks like it's bigger than my overpriced condo out here in CA.

Thank you J

It's only a 2 bedroom, 2bath. 14 X 64 (896 sq ft). But, it's just me and my 2 gals. So we have plenty of room.

The best part is I only have $8,500 left owing and it will all be paid for.

I need to start building some covered porches front and back when I get her paid off. I want something big enough to park my truck and,or minivan under.
