Is that contraption to help two old girls with old hips who can't jump so high anymore up onto the bed? You probably could have rigged something for a lot less money, but then it would look kinda cheap and rigged, whereas this looks all nice and spiffy. And maybe they can slide down it as well? :)

Lucky dogs, to get so much love.

I'm sure they're worth it. :)

Much classier than just the plain steps I've seen. Also would work as playground equipment.

Thanks J, Jay, and Jan
Wow....every body's name starts with J...???????

I had a weak moment on Ebay one night and couldn't resist! $61 plus $20 for shipping! What was I thinking......or drinking???LOL!!

Their worth every penny, plus it gives my co-workers, friends and family something to rag me about!

You bought a ramp so your dogs can walk into bed?

Let the ragging begin!!!!!

What's this about tassels? Do you have photos? I think you protest too much.

Jeanna
You'll have to go to her blog. She has some mighty fine tassle holders!

LOL! Oh, Jimmy! I LOVE that! LOL! Those are some pretty pampered pooches! I can't say anything though, because you should see the stuff I buy for Chance, Trouble and Spike! OMG! I think Hubby thinks I'm insane for buying the fur babies so many play things!

Your photos made me laugh as I thought of this ---> http://www.extremecanines.com/tour1.htm

P.S. That last comment on my last blog post cracked me up too! You are a hoot! Seriously, you and Jeanna have made commenting on blogs so entertaining! LOL! I less than butt you both! ;)

I'd love to tease you about buying that for the pups. . . but you would not believe some of the things that I buy for my Hedgehog. . . so I've got no room to talk!

Thanks for the link, for some reason I want a glass of milk now. Roscoe has a message for you and The Pats.

Is this a disabled ramp for old dogs or an X-Games ramp for radical dogs?

Uncivil said...

Jeanna
Thanks shug!

VE
Yep, their radical days are behind them. They're ready for their senior citizens discount!

That's just sad.

I'd be watching my drinks real close from now on. Those dogs may try getting you drunk so you'll buy more eBay stuff for them!

I think it kicks ass that you have a ramp for the girls. Seriously, they get so top heavy on those knitting needle legs and when they're older, they can really hurt their backs if they try to jump. You're quite the Southern Gem, Jim.

Therese
I have to watch my drinks or Abigail will drink them!

Msmamma
Thanks, good to hear from ya!

Hi Jimmy! Long time no see, and as always it's wonderful to pay you a visit! LOL on the new profile pic, and I'm having fun catching up to your blog.

uhh... I think Ab & Em kind of have it made just a little bit, don't you? (I've got a secret for ya - among the many many reasons that exist, that is ranking close to the TOP reason you're 'Numero Uno' on my list of really really cool people!!) I saw a 10-year old Boston last week. I only get to see her once a year but have been seeing her for the last 6 yrs at least because she comes EVERY year with her owner to town. She is a boat dog - LOVES to go fishing with her dad and never stays home (she's always with him - smart man) LOL!, but anyhow - she is the neatest dog and I think of you when I see her! And she's a sweetie and pistol and a 1/2, too! (She is MISS "IT"... or that might be "HIT") with everyone! Among labs and retrievers, she lets them know who's Captain when she comes to the docks!

Great to see you! Have a great weekened! Give the gals a hug! Catch ya later Gator!

Hey shug
It's always a good morning to wake up and get "linky luv" from you my dear. I sure wish you would start blogging again.
I hope all is well with your family and fur babies.
I've been secretly hoping you would get a Boston Terrier!
