An old, tired-looking dog wandered into the yard. I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home.
He followed me into the house, down the hall, and fell asleep in a corner.

An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out.
The next day he was back, resumed his position in the hall, and slept for an hour. This continued for several weeks.
Curious, I pinned a note to his collar: "Every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap."
The next day he arrived with a different note pinned to his collar:
"He lives in a home with four children -- he's trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?"

I spent some time with a kid, a crazy boxer, and a puppy today. It's a toss up as to who most needed sedating.

Boxer's have way too much energy. They don't start to mellow out until they reach about 8 or 9 years of age.

Very amusing. Children are such a bore.

LOL! Too cute, Jimmy!

At first, I thought it was a true story of your own!

When I was a kid (and still living in the city), we didn't have any pets. There would be this big, fat cat that would come into our house all the time and act like he owned the place. Turns out, he belonged to the previous owners of the house. Though they moved to the other end of the city, the cat found his way back to his "home". LOL!

Yeah, those darn boxers...you have to lace up their gloves, empty their spit buckets, slice open their eyes...oh wait, were you talking about dogs?

Poor kitty, he liked the house better than the the owners.

Knowing Jeanna, she could have been talking about a pugilist instead of a dog?

Autumns Mom
