Erm, I don't actually know about that. I don't think we ever talked about it, and she wasn't governor for very long.
But I do know that my mom was terrified of McCain winning, and that she would not want someone as conservative as Palin in office. She believed much too strongly in a woman's right to choose.

I believe in what's good for our whole nation over what's right for a woman's right to choose!
I don't believe government has any business in the abortion issue, and there are many many other issues they have no business in also.
That being said....this woman has real accomplishments in her states government, not to mention her accomplishments as a mother of five, and the family role model she is! She excells in every thing she does.
She can speak of her accomplishments as well as Mccain's accomplishments!
I haven't heard of Obama speaking about his personal accomplishments......only his lame promises for change. Which translates to punish the productive and give their money to the nonproductive!!!!
If she and McCain agreed with you that the govt. had no business in the abortion issue, I'd feel a lot differently about them.
She has an 80% approval rating in Alaska. I think most govt officials would give up a LOT for ratings like that.
Oh, and I think what's right for our nation is what's most important as well. I just don't agree with McCain or Bush about what that is.
