I'll never forget the day one of my favorite tech school teachers put "the first line" of that equation (C+C+L+L+L+L+*+*....)on the chalk board durring class. He had the most uncanny ways of holding our attention! He left it up there on the board for the rest of class and we had to wait for him to solve it.
He had many many more, but that is the one I remembered the most!
He passed away years ago, but I'll never forget you Mr. Simmons.
You're Groovin', Mr. Groovy - LOL! Your comment reminded me of Mr. Denton, my wonderful algebra teacher who I swear had eyes in the back of his head. He always knew when I was passing a love note to someone (or intercepting a love note to someone else :) and he would turn around and face the class and bow his head and look straight at me over his bifocals. He never had to say anything. The look alone was enough.
"but..but...but I was asking Sheila if she had an extra pencil with an eraser on it. Mine's gone."
Om goodness! I'm having a great belated Valintines with all you lovely ladies on here! Wow! I don't know where to start?
CK; I'm ready for you to sing me a love ballad! You are so talented and optimistic!
Rachie Babe; Happy Hearts to you too Hon! Tell Msmamma I had a hot little grocery clerk flirt with me just a while ago! She wanted me to leave her my twelve pack of beer? I knew there was a catch!
Row; You were a flirt? I'd a never guessed??LOL!!! I figured you for wrestlin' and hawgtie'n the boys when they flirted with you?
Ha,I'm not as Groovy as you! Thanks for turning me on to Grooveshark. I check your lovely pictures and music almost everyday. Wish you had time to let us comment there! We still love ya! Even "C" misses ya!
C; It's good to see you here too my dear! I see you snook a little break from the bambino! She is a cutie, and she is gonna have some great pics to look back on one day!
J;
I'm still in the learning process with Grooveshark. Row turned me on to Imeem a few years back. I love her taste in music! You've got me reading up on "Galileo" BTW! It's like going back to school but better with Google!
OK, I think I covered all you lovelies, and wishing you many more Happy Valentines to come! Ha, that was fun!
Very clever!! Happy Valentine's Day :-) I am afraid those links you left might be giving me nightmares for quite a while now... oh well, more time to blog I guess ;)
C Hey shug, good to see you on here. I don't remember why "Horse Feather's" hung up her blog? Row told me a while back, but my memory ain't what it used to be and it wasn't good when I had one!!! I did enjoy her blog! Row finds the most down to earth people don't she? OK...correct my english (doesn't she)! Hugs to the Bambino....and give "Chance" a hug too! Hope he's handling it well? Howdy to you too Farmer John!
Just now noticing and playing your tune. Love the irony of the title. Haven't played with sound for awhile, how did you do that? It sounds really good.
I got stuck at searching for songs, it just wouldn't move past that point. Didn't want to use my own mp3s cuz of the copyrite bullshit. Had to content myself with adding a bunch of music to our St. Pat's evite.
Jeanna Alright babycakes, maybe I misled you a little? I forgot to tell you that I couldn't get past that "ADD YOUR MUSIC +" in the bottom right corner either!!!!!!
OK...here goes I assume you're registered and logged in. Right there in the middle of the page, just type in "Sober" where it says "Millions of songs. Find yours." And click that little magnifying glass lookin' thingy to the left of it. It pulls up all kinds of songs; Sober by Butch Walker Sober by Muse Sober by Kelly Clarkson Sober by Pink Alright now, I like Pink, so click on Sober by Pink It immediately starts playin and it shows up in the bottom thingy called the "Queue" OK......go down there and click the little box thingy that says Embed Queue when you run your cursor over it! It will pull up a new screen that says "Make a Widget"! You'll see step 1 of 2: Stylize and Customize. I just went on to step 2...next step..then I click "Finish" on the next step.
Then I just copied and paste the embed from the next page on my blog post Boomyow!!!Pink is singin' her little heart out on my blog!!!
Jimbo, I posted something for you and Jeanna. Then I realized how much you'd love hearing that Obama enjoyed a bit of "beaver tail" when he was visiting our Nation's Capital. ;p
Uncivil = abrupt, bluff, brief, brusque, candid, crusty, curt, discourteous, explicit, forthright, frank, gruff,matter-of-fact, outspoken, plain-spoken, rude, short, snappy, snippety, tactless, trenchant, unceremonious, unmannerly, unpolished, unrefined, and sometimes down right vulgar! Yea, that about sums it up!
