Hold Stihl.......you're gonna love this blow job?
Who's sniffin' who?
I just had to slip this in here. Emily has never been this close to a horse before. It's hard to hold a dog in one hand with the camera in the other, and I wasn't sure if they would try to bite one another, but they seemed to have a mutual respect . That's Miss Leana Star

A tribute to "Dirt Road Dogs"

A dear friend of mine was kind enough to share her beautiful blog with me. These were a few of many pictures that she has taken that really touches my heart. Her photo album along with the words and music she has chosen are a masterpiece.Do your soul a favor and take a visit. I promise you won't be disappointed. Let me know if it brings a sweet tear to your eye! I could let that music play for hours in the background.

Flat Tire !
I was traveling between home and work when a tire blew out.
Checking my spare, I found that it too was flat.
My only option was to flag down a passing motorist and get a ride to the next town.
The first vehicle to stop was an old man in a van. He yelled out the window, "Need a lift?"
"Yes, I sure do," I replied.
"You a Republican or Democrat," asked the old man.
"REPUBLICAN," I replied.
"Well, you can just go to Hell," yelled the old man as he sped off.
Another guy stopped, rolled down the window, and asked me the same question.
Again, I gave the same answer, "REPUBLICAN."
The driver gave me the finger and drove off.
I thought it over and decided that maybe I should change my strategy, since this area seemed to be overly political and there appeared to be few Republicans.
The next car to stop was a red convertible driven by a beautiful blonde.
She smiled seductively and asked if I was a Republican or Democrat.
"DEMOCRAT!", I shouted.
"Hop in!", replied the blonde.
Driving down the road, I couldn't help but stare at the gorgeous woman in the seat next to me, the wind blowing through her hair, perfect breasts, and a short skirt that continued to ride higher and higher up her thighs.
Finally, I yelled, "Please stop the car."
She immediately slammed on the brakes and as soon as the car stopped, I jumped out.
"What's the matter?", she asked.
"I can't take it anymore," I replied. "I've only been a DEMOCRAT for five minutes and already I want to screw somebody."

Hard to Bear?
I was sent these photos in an email from my Dad and thought it was post worthy. The email said "the bear was walking across Rainbow Bridge (Old Hwy 40 at Donner Summit,Truckee) on Saturday when two cars also crossing the bridge scared
the bear into jumping over the edge of the bridge. Somehow the bear caught the
ledge and was able to pull itself to safety. Authorities decided that nothing
could be done to help Saturday night so they returned Sunday morning to find the bear sound asleep on the ledge. "

"After securing a net under the bridge the bear was tranquilized, fell
into the net, lowered, then woke up and walked out of the net. "

There was a moral at the end of this photo spread that said........... "There is a moral to this story you know; this old bear made a wrong move and found he was hanging by his nails. Somehow he was able to pull himself up onto the ledge where he saw he was in a very bad, impossible situation and what did he do? Yep, he took a nap and sure enough the situation took care of itself while he was asleep.
The moral is that when confronted with a bad situation sometimes the best solution is to take a nap. "
My first thought after reading that was "Damn......that bear is a democrat or a government employee for sure?"

Sick as a Dog!
I've been a little under the weather these past few days, and it brought to mind the old saying "Im sick as a dog". So I googled the old saying and stole these two pics while searching for info which I put in the comment section!
Below is a picture of Emily taken years ago when she broke out in hives shortly after getting her yearly shots! Now,that's what I call sick as a dog!
I look at her miserable little face, and I can feel her pain! Yep, that's me,sick as a dog. A picture really is worth a thousand words! I sure hope they don't catch my germs!Thursday, February 07, 2008
My first letter to the editor
Death Penalty
We are all allotted a certain time on this planet. I don't understand why anyone would object to the death penalty? We are all going to die one day. And if you commit a murder, you need to die a little early? It's as simple as that!
That sure isn't the case for most convicted murderers. Most of them are allowed to live for many years after their crimes. There should be at least a 2 year minimum (only because of our "Sloth" of a court system) from the time of conviction to the time of lethal injection.
Why should convicted murderers be allowed to share time on the planet with us? The only argument to that question is for the life of the wrongly accused in stating that an
innocent life could be taken in the process? Sorry, but no process is perfect.
Innocent lives are taken every day by murderers. What about them? The media will over-hype the coverage of a wrongly convicted person and make it seem like it happens all the time when in fact it doesn't. Because when it doesn't happen........well that's just not news!
